A trip to the market

DOes this sound like a primary school composition title to you? yes it is. A poly student is ranting on it.

i jus then returned from the marker approximately 5 minutes ago. my mother asked me to buy
1) tapioca gratted- 1kg
2)red sugar-$1
3)asli milk-medium. ( she demostrated to me the size by comparing it with the small and big packet. damn hilarious i am telling you)
4)C-o-c-o-n-u-t. white coconut. $1.

i am suppose to buy #2,3,4 only if there is #1.

i was so confused by the dollar sign and the kg. i told that friendly-salesman
" i want 1kg of white coconut"
"hahahahah, you really want 1kg?" HE burst out laughing.
" okay it must be $1 then"
"1kg is alot you know"
*smiles foolishly at the salesperson*

i feel so pathetic. it took me awhile more to describe the tapioca . goddamn. i need to make MORE trips to the market.

there were all 4 items in the shop :) yea.

observation #1 : markets are very slippery and smelly
observation #2: the sales people there are very friendly.
observation #3: i see alot of teens accompanying parents to the market how sweet:)

I wanted to make sure i bought the correct things, so i called my mum to confirm so that i dun have to make another trip back to the market again.

ring ring.
" nazreen, what do you want now"( in tamil)
"HAHAHAHA. how do you know its me"( my usual english)
" i will only receive phone calls whenever you are not at home. especially when you are at the market"
" hahahaha. okay the tapioca sold out already, so do you want me to buy the rest of the things?"
" oh. sold out already? then can you go the other market."
"huh!! where is it? i am already near the traffic light. i have already forgotten what you wanted me to buy."smirks*
*she repeats the 4 things, while i check my purchases.check. check.check.check. great but "okay okay. nevermind, then just come back home"
"okay." hang up.

back home..
"SURPRISE!"

its so fun to surprise your mum. HAHA.
